秋天。古以五音配合四时，商为秋。商音凄厉，与秋天肃杀之气相应，所以称秋为商秋。五音中的商，按阴阳五行之说属金，配合四时为秋。而商音凄厉，恰与秋天肃杀之气相应，故称秋天为「商秋」。
结实商秋，敷华青春。
