释义	天井窑 tiān jǐng yáo也称“地坑窑”。窑洞的一种。流行于河南、山西、陕西、甘肃等省黄土地区。先在平坦的冈地上，凿掘方形或长方形深坑，造成人工崖面，再沿坑面开凿窑洞。深坑面积相当于庭院，俗称“地坑院”或“天井院”。坑院各面窑洞，一如地面四合院。院内挖有地沟或掘渗井排水。地坑边缘，筑矮墙防护。
