释义	察举 chá jǔ汉代选官制度。始于武帝时，由丞相、列侯、刺史、守相等推举，经过考核合格即任以官职，主要科目有孝廉、贤良文学、秀才等。是士大夫仕进的主要途径。经由郡县等官吏推荐而任官。请自今孝廉年不满四十，不得察举。《后汉书．卷六一．左雄传》前汉表谢，遗篇寡存。及后汉察举，必试章奏。南朝梁．刘勰《文心雕龙．章表》察舉
