释义	庶老 shù lǎo古代士之告老退休者。《尚书大传》卷五:大夫、士七十而致仕，老于乡里，大夫为父师，士为少师……上老平明坐于右塾，庶老坐于左塾，余子毕出，然后皆归。郑玄注:上老，父师也；庶老，少师也。《礼记．王制》:有虞氏养国老于上庠，养庶老于下庠。孔颖达疏引熊安生云:国老，谓卿大夫致仕者；庶老，谓士也。《魏书．高祖纪下》:﹝二月﹞丙午，诏畿内七十以上暮春赴京师，将行养老之礼……三月丙寅，宴群臣及国老、庶老于华林园。一说庶老兼指士人告老退休者与庶人之老者。
