释义	止渴飲鴆 zhǐ kě yǐn zhèn为解渴而喝毒酒。语本岂有触冒死祸，以解细微？譬犹疗饥于附子，止渴于鸩毒，未入肠胃，已绝咽喉，岂可为哉！《后汉书．卷四八．霍谞传》后比喻只求解救眼前困难，而不顾将来的大祸患。若虑迷信一破，道德堕落，必以保存为得计，此又何异欲止渴而饮鸩，欲疗疮而剜肉？竟是自害自的勾当。《扫迷帚．第二四回》也作「饮鸩止渴」。
