释义	江湖会 jiāng hú huì哥老會的支派，鄂北地區祕密社團之一。成立於十九世紀末二十世紀初，其成員為農民、手工業工人、小商販、退伍軍人和無業遊民。本稱“九龍山”，因其講江湖義氣，故一般呼之為江湖會，有會眾數千人。1902年至1903年間，江湖會密謀起義，號召“掃清滅洋”，事泄後其首領被殺害。
