tú cháng wàng
1906-1962氣象學家，中國現代氣象事業創始人之一。湖北漢口人。曾赴英國留學。歷任中央研究院氣象研究所研究員，清華大學、浙江大學和中央大學教授，中央氣象局首任局長等職。當選爲中國氣象學會副理事長、中科院學部委員。開創了中國長期天氣預報的研究工作，首先提出研究中國的長期天氣預報應從全世界天氣出發，研究大氣活動中心、大氣浪動和海洋環流與溫度、降水的關係，更細緻地區劃了中國氣候分區等。著有《中國氣候區域》和《關於二十世紀氣候變暖問題》等。
