释义	金善宝 jīn shàn bǎo1895-1997农学家、教育家和社会活动家。浙江诸暨人。东南大学毕业。留学美国。历任南京市副市长、南京大学农学院院长、中国农科院院长、九三学社中央名誉主席、中国科协副主席。中科院院士。长期从事农作物优良品种的选育，是中国小麦研究的奠基人之一。选出了适合中国种植的优良品种“矮粒多”和“南大2419”，研究了小麦播种方法和中国小麦的分类。著有《实用小麦论》、《中国小麦区域》，主编有《中国小麦栽培学》、《中国小麦品种志》等。
