释义	阿底峽 ā dǐ xiá人名。(西元982～1054）梵语 Atisa的音译，意译为「殊胜」，法名燃灯吉祥智。幼年出家。曾从菩提贤、金洲法称修学，博通显密，教证双全，为当时超戒寺最杰出的学者。后应西藏王之邀至西藏弘法。使十一世纪朗达玛毁佛后的西藏佛教得以复兴。历史上并以阿底峡入藏以后的西藏佛教为后弘期。对承传其教法的是噶当派和格鲁派有极深远的影响。其著作保留在《西藏大藏经》中多达一百一十七部。
